the red light will not disappear as long as the plug is plugged into the wall. right after you long press the power button, the word off will pop up and you can safely open the oven door. however, the red light will remain on or blinking since you did not unplug it from the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you read the instructions carefully, you will note that while in operation, the red power button is white. A short press on the white button will pause cooking, though not the fan. A long press will turn off the unit and the button will turn red again, and flash continuously (the fan might also stay n for a few seconds). Only disconnecting the power cord will produce a totally blank. black screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the power button is on & blinking by design. The front of item is a featureless, smooth black exterior when no power is connected. If the button isn't lit in some way when connected, one would have to guess where it is. Having it lit simply makes it possible to find the button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I press mine for about five seconds, and then it turns itself off. You might want to contact the manufacturer.
