I had the same problem. I didn't realize it had a vinyl display over the cooking controls. I finally realized that it needed to be removed. I immediately saw all of the preset choices, the timer and the power display.

My Bella pro panel did not stay on. It worked great for a few months then the panel went I couldn’t select anything . got my refund . Looking for another air fryer . I really liked it while it worked I am looking for another air fryer .

Make sure the door is closed, and tap the power ONCE. It should display all the options. If this doesn't work, unplug it, wait 2 minutes, plug it back in and try it again. Hope this helps! I had the same problem.
