• I've cooked pizza, pork chops, vegetables, biscuits, cookies, spring rolls, and some cinnamon buns on this Bella air fryer, and not once did I have a smoking issue. Might be a defective unit? If you have the regular warranty (the one that comes upon purchasing), you should be able to get a replacement. Hope that helps.

• No. Check it for grease on or around the heating coil in the top of the unit. If there is, just clean it with some soap and water with it unplugged from the wall. Then run it once and see if it does it again. If it does, bring it to best buy for a replacement, if not, all set.

• no it’s not - it may need a good cleaning if it’s greasy inside. If it’s not then I think there’s an issue with your unit.

• If you cook anything above 350 Degrees, there is a possibility of some smoke. I cook bacon in mine with no issues.
