Smell should go away shortly if you did not pre-season the air Fryer when you first used it. All that required was running Fryer at top temperature for 10 or 15 minutes empty. That burns off the factory odor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not have an issue with it. Did you wash out the container and the rack? Sometimes it's that. Did you spray it with a oil spray because sometimes the sprays do not go well in tight places. If neither of those are the case then I would return it and request a new one as that one is obviously defective.

Don't blame the manufacturer if you can't be bothered to read the directions, although you might suggest they put this one in capital letters and bold type, since so many other people, like you, just go the bull-in-a-china-shop way.
