As this is an air fryer with some oven functions, I would probably avoid using it to defrost/ thaw something. This is meant to cook food, not thaw it out. Thawing meat is best done in either your refrigerator or using the settings on the microwave. Now if you are trying to fully cook from frozen, I would say 20-30 minutes, possibly longer for thicker pieces. Page 18 of the manual give recommendations for settings, temp, and time for different foods.

Depends on the weight really. I usually leave it in the fridge a day before.
