To follow up on my previous answer, I gambled and bought a 12 cup replacement carafe that looks similar to the original that the Bella came with. It has a height adjustable top and does work. It's a snug fit since it's a 12 cup instead of a 10 cup. And you have to be careful not to use it to dump too much water into the reservoir. I've been searching for a replacement for months and their customer service is less than helpful. Basically told me to google it which is the first thing I did. I'm about to throw my machine in the trash and buy another brand since 50% of it's not functional at the moment.
