Hey! I was confused at first as well but basically the air fry time is how long total you should cook on for the “blanch step” . “time” is when you complete the “action” . You continue the “air fry step” doing the same. For example: I put my my fries is the fryer at 8:00 on 325 degrees. At 8:08, I would shake the fries and continue cooking for another 7 mins. At 8:15 I would turn degrees up to 375 and cook for 10( at the least mins). At 8:20, I would shake fries and place back in for another 5 mins. At 8:25 the fries would be done. Instructions also said to add another 3 mins for preheat. Also if your fries are not crispy enough it tells you to place them back in for 5 mins at 370 degrees.

The quantity of food air fried at one time, the thickness or density of the food, and whether the food is fresh, thawed, or frozen may alter the total cooking time necessary. It gives you the time to fry and to shake. Have a nice day. The BELLA Team.
