“The "waffle iron" smells terrible when cooking. Is it made of plastic?”

• I'm not sure what the plates are made of but I set it on the highest setting and let the smell cook off. I have not had a problem with the smell since.

• Mine didn’t create a smell but the instructions said that during the first use you may notice a smell and should discard the first waffles made.

• Hello, thanks for reaching out. If the unit is new a small amount of smoke and odor is normal within the first use. Cooking plates are made of Aluminum. Have a nice day. The BELLA Team.
