This monitor has cables for HDMI and DVI. I don't own an Xbox so if it has a receptor for HDMI or DVI it should work.

Due to the BenQ GL2460HM being a 24 inch screen monitor I would recommend getting a 32 inch or larger for Xbox gaming. The BenQ GL2460HM has 1 watt speakers and you would find them not to deliver enough sound as you may try to find 3 or 4 watt built-in speakers such as 2.1 (2 tweeters and woofer) or obtain a nice Audio Bus Bar which does cost just as much as this monitor. As for PC gaming then probably would be okay. However, it's better to review and conduct research for a larger monitor with louder speakers. The BenQ GL2460HM is very affordable for $129 at BBY and does have some good features and of good quality build. In my opinion or as a suggestion for use with Xbox please look into a larger monitor.
