• It means it not connects one monitor to your computer with that one cord only linking 1 thing to your device

• Unlike HDMI, DVI cables are not built to carry sound, only images. Some cables come in sets with an RCA audio cable in the same case and sometimes with the cables twinned along most of their length to make cable management easier. This cable does not have the audio cable accessory.
