Thank you for your question. Whether the outlets can fit within the mounted TV's footprint depends on the exact dimensions of the TV and the specific design of the back. However, our Best Buy essentials™ Extended Tilt TV Wall Mount has a fairly open back plate design. To determine if the outlets will be inside the mounted TV area, you'll need to consider the size of your TV and where the mounting brackets attach to the back of it. It's possible that one or both outlets could be covered by the TV once mounted. While the mount itself might have some open space, we generally recommend against having electrical outlets directly behind the mounted TV if they will be inaccessible. This is for safety and ease of access if you ever need to unplug anything. The Ethernet port being covered is less of a safety concern but could be inconvenient if you need to access it. Ideally, it's best if the outlets are either above or below the area where the TV will be mounted. If that's not possible, you'll need to carefully measure the back of your TV and the position of the outlets to see if there's enough clearance and accessibility.
