The manual for this mount doesn’t give any instruction to adjust the tilt except for basically “grab your TV and tilt it up or down.“ Neither of the customer support answers here on the website really helped either as this mount has smooth bolts going into black smooth covers on the back of the plate that tilts up and down. The way I solved it was get a small pry tool or very thin flat-bladed screwdriver, and pry the black plastic caps off of the bolts that are on the back of the tilt plate to expose to 10 mm nuts. Take a small wrench or 10 mm socket and gently tighten both sides equally and try moving the plate back-and-forth for the ability to barely move it up and down with your hand. Then leave the plastic caps off and remount your TV and check the tension with the TV on it. You can then put the black caps back on or, like me, just leave them off for future adjustments. Hope that helps and wish the manufacturer would’ve either left the decorative caps off or at least put the instruction in the manual.

This will make it easier to access the adjustment screws. Locate the tilt adjustment screws on the back of the TV mount. These screws are usually located near where the TV attaches to the mount. Use a screwdriver or the appropriate tool to loosen the tilt adjustment screws. Be careful not to loosen them too much, as this can cause the TV to become unstable. Adjust the tilt of the TV to your desired angle. Make sure the TV is level and straight before tightening the adjustment screws. Once you have the TV at the desired tilt angle, tighten the adjustment screws to secure the position. Reattach the TV to the mount, if necessary, and make any final adjustments to ensure the TV is positioned correctly. Test the tilt adjustment by viewing the TV from different angles to make sure it is in the desired position. Hope this helps!
