Q: QuestionI'm using this with macOS. The mouse connected easily, but several of the buttons don't work. The buttons on the side for Forward and Back, as well as the scroll wheel click don't work. How can I assign these other buttons? Is there an app or pref pane?

• A:Answer I haven't found a native solution, but I did come across a free app called "Mac Mouse Fix". It not only allows the user to customize the buttons, but also includes the option for "smooth scrolling" (removing the jumpiness of the stepped scroll wheel) which is a nice feature as well.

• A:Answer Most of bluetooth devices will reach 15 to 25 feet, if no walls or significant obstructions are not in the way. This has been a great decide for me, and I use multiple computers with the mouse. The battery life is great, however, the level of charge (battery strength) also determines how far the BlueTooth signal will reach. I hope this helps!

Q: QuestionI'm having a lot of trouble getting the battery tag off. It seems like it's stuck inside a compartment that is right beside the battery one that I can't figure out how to get to. I've taken the batteries out, but I still can't get it. Any advice for me?

Sometimes, these tags are designed to be pulled out from a small opening. Try looking closely for a thin slit or opening near the battery compartment. You might need to use a pair of tweezers or a small, thin tool (like a toothpick or a straightened paperclip) to gently try and grip the edge of the tag and pull it out through this opening. Be careful not to force anything that feels stuck. If you've tried this and still can't remove the tag, please contact our Best Buy essentials customer support team (1-866-597-8427) for further assistance.
