• To my knowledge, the Surface Pro 7 does not have a mini display port. In order for this item to work, your computer/laptop must have a mini display port. You will also need an HDMI cable to connect to the TV/Monitor. I believe the Surface Pro 7 has a USB-C port, so you would benefit from a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Hope this helps
