Total rip off, i bought this laptop and they told me that i would get $100 discount if i get geeksquad membership. Now after 6 months i have called in to cencel geeksquad member ship cause i paid over $100 in subscription, they told me i would have to pay $240 in cancelation fee

I confirmed this information with him multiple times before leaving the store. I wrote this down exactly also before I left the store. I go to cancel it a month later, and they want to charge me the entire year ($220) for a cancellation fee. There is absolutely no exceptions for the fault of their employees and giving me complete misinformation. Do NOT get this membership. I won't be supporting Best Buy again. Absolutely ridiculous. Hope I can save some of you from a significant fee from the screw up of their employees.

I had a membership and contacted the Geek Squad multiple times and never received a response. And then to add insult to injury they kept billing me for an annual subscription after I told them to cancel. I am still fighting Best Buy through the credit card company for their fraudulent behavior.
