A:AnswerI’ve rented a cleaner from Home Depot but it wasn’t a Bissell. I’ve used a rental machine and had a professional with the long hose that runs to a van clean my carpets and neither did the job as good as the Big Green. The Bissell either lightened or completely removed stains the others couldn’t touch. And after cleaning my carpet was damp not wet. It dried within a couple of hours. I’m very happy with my purchase.
A:AnswerThe top tank is for the dirty water and the bottom tank holds the clean water/cleaning solution.... they both hold 2 gallons of liquid EACH. I hope this answers your question.
A:AnswerAs far as I know the water is not heated. I use Hot water from the tap in my bathtub and it does a very good job. This is not like a commercial carpet cleaner where you have hook ups to a van with industrial equipment to heat the water as you go along. That said if you use hot water from the tap it will stay warm enough until your done doing an area for 15 minutes. hope this helps.
A:AnswerYour flow gauge is broken. Known issue if you use hot water in the machine. You can buy replacement parts online and there are youtube videos on how to do the repair if you are out of warranty.
A:AnswerThe only thing you need to release is the handle on top of the water container (reservoir) in the front of the unit. It is really easy to both fill the reservoir and empty the grey water after you finish cleaning your carpets.
A:AnswerDifferent parts of our models are made in different countries, so it's not something we can easily answer. BISSELL is an international company and products are manufactured and sold worldwide.
A:AnswerI have tile in the main living areas along with large rugs. It does not clean tile since there isn't a scrubber and the suction will not effectively remove the water from a flat surface.
A:AnswerI have the pet pro also and the attachments do not fit. Don’t let that deter you from getting this. The pet pro is good, but this machine is AMAZING!!!
