• A:Answer Sound level for our vacuums is a pet peeve of mine, so I make it a point of measuring. With my uncalibrated iPhone App I measure my house on a typical day at 44dB. We're quiet. This vac kicks the noise up to 75-77dB from a yard or two away. The pitch, overall, is not too bad, except for a bit lower volume, higher frequency sound I find annoying. This isn't a quiet vac. Ask the BB store support to fire one up for you. I should note that various vacs of the same model might have differing volumes and pitches.

• A:Answer Not sure what regular floors are, but maybe hardwood flooring? This works well on that--it has good suction and the wheels are large enough and slightly cushioned so they roll smoothly and quietly on the hardwood. Also works great on carpets and throw rugs. On some of the smaller rugs I reduce the suction a little (thicker carpet setting) to keep from pulling them up.

• A:Answer Not really. Very powerful and pulls itself along but I would not call it self propelled like a lawnmower. With that said it is a great vaccum and the headlight is great. We have 3 large dogs and kill vaccums.

Q: QuestionFragrances including Fabreez are filled with chemical compounds that are highly allergenic. Is it possible to get Bissell off the shelf without fragrances allergens in the filters? Defeats the purpose of buying this for allergy sufferers!

Q: QuestionCan you replace the brush roller if needed? We had a Shark vacuum and you could only replace if you had a tech do it. They had special screws that you could not remove.

• A:Answer I read the user manual and it did not address this issue, so I am not certain. However, I really like this vacuum. Great suction, removable wand, two sets of filters (1 washable) and you can turn the brush roller off when using the wand. The best part is it is comparatively light and coming from a great but heavy vacuum it is so much easier to handle.

• A:Answer No it does not adjust for height, however there is a lever to adjust suction, so less suction for deep pile carpets more suction for thinner carpets.

• A:Answer The Only Suction Info I see under the specifications under this Item is not even Watts but Volts of 120. Trust me Bill, you had me at KPA, and sincerely I cant seem to locate it anywhere in the World Wide Web. So I will go out on the limb and quote my best description per my vacuum physics and state to you that the pick-up pressure is trustworthy and just the sound of the suction pressure is above average, especially with the HEPA for pet gander, hair & fir. So good luck & please purchase the Geek Squad Warranty for your concerns & quality of your concerns.
