No I think you'd have to remove roller, but it has a floor setting

Yes, there is a knob on the top of the intake (brush roller) that you can switch to off or carpet height.

Well if you have someone to take off the brush and not break it. but use the other tools it comes with so you can. I suggest you shouldn't because it might leave marks on the floor
