Can the vacuum feature work separately? null

Yes, there is a button on the handle to push for the "wet" part of the process. If you don't push that button, then you are able to just vacuum.

I have used it just to vacuumed. I just don’t put water in the tank.

I"n sorry not sure what you are asking, but one thing I do know is that the Crosswave make cleaning easier and fun to use. I love it soo much I use it at least 5 times a day. No joke.
