“At $399 this is no cheap item. Is the battery a changeable item and how much does it cost ? What is it's expected life before replacement is needed.”

The battery is changeable. I don’t know how long the battery lasts but you get about 30-45 minutes of cleaning between charges. The battery is like $60

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.rechargeable , yes. battery life, who knows, the machine shows you when to recharge I(O did about 1200 square feet before a recharge. I always buy the insurance plan and register the unit with the manufacturer.
