I originally didn't want to pay the extra to get this model-with the additional suction option. But I bought the less expensive cordless model and I felt like it left a lot more water on my floors than I was used to with my original Corded version. So, I returned that one and purchased this model. (The X7). I feel like this is similar in performance to the corded model, which I love. I hated dealing with the cord, though. This is a great addition to our home and I love it!
