“Is the Bissell model 66E1 a steam cleaning unit? My carpet installer said to use a steam cleaner only and a regular machine would cause the carpet to shrink.”

Hi Hoop - this machine uses warm water extraction to clean carpets and upholstery. It does not produce steam.
