I was personally really confused on this as well when I purchased the machine. I used the mini bottle and have had no issues. I did personally purchase the cleaner for the portable cleaner for use after my mini bottle is gone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you go to the Bissell Website, all the cleaning products for this carpet cleaner are the ones for the upright machines. In other words, if you check each cleaning solution on the Bissell website, the only ones that are approrpriate for this machine are the ones for the upright machines.
