You can order a carpet glider that snaps on the head from Bissell, but they state that it is only for "refreshing" carpet, and not for cleaning it persay.

Hey, try it on the garage floor, I do believe you can buy extra pads if it messes one up. You won't hurt the machine if that is what you are asking.

It is a bit harder on the pads, and I will use at least two pads (They get dirty) when I clean the garage floor. I toss the pads in the washer, and they're good again to use on any other surface.
