• Use the plastic flat tool that came with the appliance to pull the funk out and use water to rinse it out. It’s explained in the manual.

• It actually comes off and you can clean it out. Just open where the attachments go and pull on it.

• Hi Debra – there’s a nozzle cleaning tool that comes with your machine. It is a long flat gray plastic tool that is designed to help you clean the foot of your deep cleaner. If you need one it is part number 1606433 and can be purchased through BISSELL online or over the phone at 800-237-7691.
