• Hi Morgan - it's safe to leave any unused formula in the machine. We do not recommend leaving dirty water in the cleaner.

• You can leave it but its most effective when using hot water, so you'll probably want to add to it. Also I would say it probably depends on how long you let it sit.

• No. Empty the tank, rinse it fill with water and run it through the machine to flush soap from lines and spray nozzles.
