Questiondusbuster arrived. No manual. I turn it on and it only runs for about 5 seconds and then turns off. Starts right up again when I turn it on, but stops after 5 seconds. During those seconds when it is on, there is hardly any suction.

QuestionDoes this version stop working the second its out of warranty, or did they fix that? My last one died on command 20 months after purchase, and I don't want to choke our landfills with lithium ion batteries, preferring products that last any length of time

QuestionMy B & D handheld vacuum works for about a minute then it stops working. I push the switch to OFF and then back to ON. It starts working again for about a minute and then it shuts itself off. I turn it OFF and then back ON and it works again .

- Answer Sounds like it needs to be charged. I would let it charge for a few hours or until the light turns green (I believe it is red when charging, but I would consult your devices instructions manual to confirm). Especially if it is being used for the first time, battery powered devices should be given a full charge.

- Answer This item is rechargeable. The battery is contained in sealed within the vacuum you cannot replace it. The filter it's also reusable. You can clean the filter when you empty the debris chamber.
