• No subscription is required if you don't want the video or photos stored. However if you need to keep the video or photos (snaps a photo of area being monitored) then a subscription plan is recommended. Their price plans are very competitive with the competition's prices.

• Either a Blink Subscription Plan, or Local Storage, is needed in order for clips to be recorded. You do not need to have an Amazon Prime subscription to use the devices, or to purchase a Blink subscription plan if you choose to.
