• You need to have an existing ISP that you can connect to for your Wi Fi.

• The sync module communicates with WiFi that you provide. I have used them with a WiFi extender off my router's WiFi and they work just fine. I can be across the country and still communicate with the cameras via my cell phone and the Blink app.
