Blink does have a solar panel which can connect to the camera instead of using the 2 lithium batteries. Last I checked, the solar panel was just shy of $40. Each camera would have to have it's own solar panel. With an estimated up to 2 years battery life with normal use, it's probably cheaper to just replace the batteries every so often. And, no, the panel does not charge the batteries. From what I've read, it may even rob the battery of it's charge. The solar panel supposedly has it's own internal battery.
