• Hi Stacey, and thank you for your question. The Blink Video doorbell can be used wireless but will not ring your existing doorbell chime if not hardwired. However, you will receive notifications when the doorbell is pressed through the blink app on your cell phone or tablet. I hope this helps, have a great day!

• It's wireless, runs on expensive disposable lithium batteries. But it's a product/app that's still in beta. Get a different product.
