Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cameras are shipped with two non-rechargeable AA 1.5v Lithium batteries. Blink camera batteries should be replaced by Energizer Ultimate 1.5v Lithium AA batteries or the equivalent. You do want to avoid using AA Lithium Ion or Li-ion batteries as these will carry a higher voltage and may cause issues with your camera. You also want to avoid Alkaline based and rechargeable batteries, as they may cause issues with your camera.

These constant 1.5v voltage batteries stayed at 1.5v or 0v when dead. My next alternative is solar panel for XT2 cam that I found on Amazon. It daily it will last for a week and only take 2 hours to charge.

You change to a fresh set of batteries. It's that simple. For best results, use lithium batteries (though mine are doing ok with alkaline batteries from Costco). You can also plug it in via its micro USB port.

I have a Eero 6 WiFi system with five routers and it works flawlessly with Ring cameras , so that’s not the problem. Do your homework before investing in a camera system that has issues and drops out with the weather or time of day
