• It sends a notice to your smart phone informing you that motion has been detected to your blink app and then you log in and view the recording, works very well.

• No alarm from the unit itself. As soon as the action is detected it records for your set time, then notifies you via your phone app. The longer the time you pick for it to record, the longer you have to wait for a notification. I set mine to record only 10 seconds so I get notified faster! I really do like these cameras a lot.

• The Blink System records 5 to 60 second video clips based on motion detection and sends an alert to your IOS or Android mobile device. There is no audible alarm or siren that goes off when the cameras start to record
