The Blink cameras need to be within 100ft of the sync module to operate. As far as how far away the Blink system can be from your wireless router would depend on the strength of your internet/wifi, we recommend at least three bars of signal strength

Please try again later.There's no real way to accurately answer that, because everyone has different WiFi systems, different routers with different antennas on them, etc. You do need a good WiFi signal and a good UPLOAD speed for these to work at their best. Each camera works best if they have approx. 2 Mbps upload speed, per camera, when uploading video. You can call your service provider to see what your speeds are or check them via any number of speed test sites online. If your coverage area isn't great there are WiFi extender units you can get, but people report mixed results using those with security camera systems, so you'll want to read reviews on those. Or even email Blink directly to see what they recommend if you need one.
