YAAARGH! unfortunately only 2.4G at the moment, so it's got a delay of about 3-5 seconds which doesn't "seem" bad but try carrying on a conversation w someone at the door w that!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will support 2.4 and 5 Ghz routers, although Blink will tell you that you can't run on a dual-band network with the same name (this is false). Recording begins almost immediately after motion trigger, I'd say maybe a delay of a second or so.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Blink currently requires a 2.4ghz WiFi-based Internet connection to operate. Blink is not compatible with wifi networks broadcasting a 5ghz signal. With Blink’s Instant On feature, the camera turns on instantly (within a fraction of a second) to record a video clip when motion is first detected.
