I had very high usage in one area and the battery only lasted 3 weeks, but it was taking pictures all day long. I don't know if you can use rechargeable batteries, it says lithium batteries. The other rooms are still running. Only got the cameras in in Oct 2019.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours lasted 2 years with moderate/heavy use!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't use rechargable batteries in the blink cameras. They will not work properly unless you use lithium ion batteries. However depending on your settings 2 AA batteries can last up to a year. I have personally gotten 10 months out of 2 batteries. Instead I bought 30ft USB cables and hard wired them now I don't have to worry about batteries anymore.

Please try again later. The batteries that are shipped with the Blink cameras are not rechargeable and we do not recommend using rechargeable batteries as they may cause issues with the cameras. With regular use*, your Blink cameras will last a very, very long time on a single set of 2 AA lithium batteries. This incredibly long battery life is made possible through a proprietary chip technology available only in Blink cameras. *Two AA lithium metal batteries last up to two years, based on typical use of Live View, motion-activated recording, and two-way talk (only available on XT2). Battery life will vary based on device settings, use, and environmental factors. Use of two-way talk will reduce battery life. Blink camera batteries should be replaced by Energizer Ultimate 1.5v Lithium AA batteries or the equivalent.
