• It must be GSM phone and unclocked. Bestbuy has variety of selections ranging from Motorola to Samsung phones. Those will work anywhere in the world and on the moon!!

• Yes as it is an unlocked phone. Depending on the network you chose prepaid. Will have a plan that may include international calls text. Data plans varie wherever you go. Most carriers have pretty good alternatives. To all major ones Verizon AT&T Tmo. My faves are Boost Mobile Cricket and Visible.
