Do I need a receiver or speaker to use this mic? null

I had answered this saying no, but you do need to use it with a computer that has compatible software, like Audacity or GarageBand or other.

Hello, The Blue Yeti comes with a USB cable, which plugs into your computer. You will want to plug headphones into the 3.5mm input on the bottom of the Blue Yeti microphone, and adjust your computer settings for input/output. On the Yeti mic, adjust the pickup pattern and gain. You do not need a receiver or speaker to use this mic. Please visit the Logitech support website if you need any assistance.
