• Blueair air purifier's filters are not reusable to maximize its efficacy. We suggest replacement every 6 months and discard or recycle the used filter.

• Yes the main fliter has to be changed about once every 6 months and the pre-fliter can be washed

• The filer under the outer lining needs to be replaced every 6 months according to the directions the outer Liner can be washed our vacuumed. I hope this helps!
