Yes, it comes with a filter. The outer gray cover is also a washable pre-filter, and you can purchase other colors. I believe BestBuy sells the inner filters by Blue as well.

Each Blueair air purifier unit will come with a filter already built in. When it is time to replace the filters you may purchase replacement filter from our website www.blueair.com or subscribe to our Filter Club to receive 15% off automatic filter delivery every 6 months.
