The BOBsweep has standard suction that is quite adequate for home use. I use it nearly every day to vacuum up stray cat fur from my two shorthair cats. I am always amazed at the quantity that accumulates unseen on carpet and is captured by BOB. It has a large capacity for a small vacuum. BOB also makes quick work of sand and small partials without scattering. The run time is approximately one hour and then it re-docks itself and recharges. Easy to use and you will be pleased with how well it cleans ... with little or no effort on your part.
