It never learns anything. Consistently gets stuck in the same places over and over. It's the dumbest robot vacuum I've ever had.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I can tell it will not learn the layout of your home, mine will clean the same area over and over until the batteries run out and it just stops. It's never managed to find its way back to the charging station
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. He has set starting pattern, but I believe it is random pattern as it maneuvers around furniture and obstacles.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bobsweep does not learn your layout. Itll constantly circle back and or miss areas. It doesn't return to the starting station. Better off vacuuming yourself
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lol…no. I have the cleanest foyer in the country because no matter how many times I reset Bob per his instructions, he cleans the foyer until his battery is dead. Better off spending some extra $$$ and getting an Roomba.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Kinda. It's not smart but it does do a good job as long as you don't have alot of stuff laying around.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's far off theę dumbest robotic vacum cleaner we have had, but he keeps my place very clean. Great suction, really... and UV light is awesome... but generally speaking, for this price, this thing should have more brain. Mine other robot by Eufy, scans the whole room, makes its own patterns, much more intelligent and has no problems to return to the charging station. And you can control it trough the app of your phone. I can't understand the price of the Dob.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suspect the other answers are old information. I recently bought my bObsweep and it works great. My house has many nooks and crannies and oddly shaped furniture (i.e., a stationary bike). It mapped my house great (picture attached). The little spots on the map are obstacles, right down to individual chair legs and the area around and behind the bike (oval in the lower left of the room in green). Wouldn't have thought it could get back there. Nearly all online reviews I could find were old and didn't reflect the current models. For instance, comparing Bob with Rumba said Bob didn't have a UV light – he does, didn't have a remote – he does, didn't have an adjustable mapping system – yep. There was more but comparing my Bob with their checklist, all the listed negatives now have checkmarks. Seriously, I'm just a consumer but I was flummoxed when I stumbled on these answers. Check the specs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO! This robot vacuum is the worst. It doesn’t map the entire house and keeps cleaning the same area over and over until the battery dies. The longest it has ever cleaned is 43 minutes, and my home is 2,800 sq. ft. Completely disappointing—I will be returning it.
