After the water boils let it sit for about 30 seconds to bring the temperature down a little bit. then when you first pour the water in just pour a little bit to cover all the coffee grounds, the coffee grounds will swell up this is called blooming. Then slowly pour the rest of the water in and you've made a really great cup of coffee.
