• SIm card is in the box and needs to be inserted in tray, which is easily done.

• Hi RP! The SIM is not pre-loaded in the tray, but the device does come with a SIM in the box. When you work through the activation online, you will have the option to either port over your old number, or be assigned a new number. Hope this helps!
