YES, this particular version of the ZTE Prestige II is the only device that I have found which will function properly with the Assurance Wireless Lifeline Plan. Different vendors sell different versions of this model name. The Best Buy version is the only one that is firmware compatible with the Assurance Plan. Walmart also sells the same model phone BUT it will not function on the Assurance Wireless Plan because the firmware in the device is set to the Walmart networks and cannot be rooted and/or totally unlocked. You can swap this phone for your existing Assurance ZTE online using your login account and entering the IMEI credentials. When you restart the Prestige II device it will be live and working with your Assurance Plan and using your Assurance Phone number. You don't even have to call Assurance on the phone to transfer the service.
