• I have wondered the same thing myself and all signs point to probably not. Most company's want you to buy their phone and how they can get away with this is that phones can be made slightly different for different companies rendering them only useful for their company brand. Sorry.

• It depends. You might want to call Boost Mobile to find out if you mobile number can be ported out from Metro PCS. Make sure your phone service is still active with Metro PCS before porting your number.
