When we bought the Bosch washer at Best Buy they did not inform us that it was a 220 volt, I fond that out when I was surching for the electric info . I called our electrician an he put a 220 volt pluck in the wall . When they delivered the wacher we found out that it had a total different pluck,so we had to call our electrician again and he fixt the promblem. I think that Best Buy sales had no idea about this problem PIET
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I looked the plug and read the instruction book, it is clarified for 240v. I went the BestBuy store in Guelph, and talked to the sale associate, they appeared have no idea about the voltage. The costumer associate mentioned the washer has to plug into the dryer in order to make it work. My husband is very mad of me for purchased this product from BestBuy, which I think is a reputed store. I am very frustrated as we get help to pick up the machine, too much work even for a return. Very frustrated and mad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Bosch 300 series is designed as a pair. The washer is to be plugged into the dryer, and the dryer into the 240V outlet - so only 1 plug is used in the process. However, salespersons could do a better job informing customers of this. Fortunately, I bought both at the same time to avoid this slight issue. If you are looking for a standalone washer, Bosch isn't the brand for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The washer plugs into the back of the dryer, top left hand side, it is black and hard to see. Read the manual

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just helped a friend install her Bosch 300 series washer and dryer after a move. The instruction manual is not very clear in showing that the washer is made to plug into the back of the dryer and runs on 240v. We had actually bought an adapter to plug it into a standard 120v receptacle and was wondering why the machine wouldn’t go into was mode. Fortunately it doesn’t appear that any harm was done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this washer. I was talking to the electrician who is going to handle the wiring. He said its 110, but with a different outlet. The information is in the booklet, which is where he found the specs. It isn't installed yet, so you might want to check with someone else.
