Yes this is a direct replacement size wise for the old Bosch HMV9305/01 microwave, they are both a 1.8 cu ft and the outer dimensions are very close to each other, any gap will be very small as this Bosch 800 Series is designed to fit in the same size cutout. The interior of the 800 Series has a 14 inch rotating glass plate vs the old HMV9305/01 on having a 12 inch rotating glass plate so you will get more interior room with the Bosch 800 Series microwave.

The sizes of the two microwaves are close, please have your installer determine if it will fit in the space.
