I saw the same review and don’t plan on using paper towels. Manufacturer recommends microfiber cloths. I purchased microfiber cloths to use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The clearcoat finish is wearing off our handle-less model in front door areas that have received the most finger contact, mainly during closing. This began after 8 months. Nothing whatsoever to do with paper towels, stainless wipes etc. All other appliances we have are stainless (Wolf and Miele) WITHOUT the clearcoat finish that the Bosch fridge has. No issues with those. It would be very similar to the clearcoat deteriorating in the areas around your car door handles. However, that does not happen as the clearcoat used on your car was a quality product that was applied correctly. Very disappointing craftsmanship (or lack of) for a Bosch product.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use microfiber cloth and I wipe it down every day hasn't rubbed off yet... not too sure what that person was talking about
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The finish is beautiful and holds up well. I read that also but it’s not true of the unit I got. It also does not show fingerprints much at all.
