Hi, thanks for your question and for your interest in Bosch! The 100, 300, 500, and 800 Series dishwashers all use the same wash system. The differences are what options and features they add. Also, the 100 Series dishwashers have a hybrid tub made of stainless steel and polypropylene, whereas the 300, 500, and 800 Series have stainless steel tubs. All Bosch dishwashers have PrecisionWash®, in which intelligent sensors continually scan and check the progress of dishes throughout the cycle, and powerful, precision spray arms go to work targeting every item of every load. The core drying system for all Bosch dishwashers is the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. Our 500 Series dishwashers also feature AutoAir®. The AutoAir® function automatically releases the door at the end of the drying cycle to let fresh air in for a better dry. The 800 Series models include our Patented CrystalDry™ technology, which uses natural minerals to collect moisture and transform it into heat, up to 176°F. The hot air is circulated throughout the tub to dry dishes, and even plastics, for the ultimate dry. For a list of the features and options for all of the series, we encourage you to check out the dishwasher brochure found on the Bosch website.
